In 2021, Human Health Project relaunched its crowdfunding campaign, “Empower 250k+ People to Make Better Health Choices.” Crowdfunding, which is the practice of funding a project by raising specific amounts of money from a large number of people, can make a large impact. The target of the crowdfunding campaign is to raise $250,000 to continue to fund Human Health Project’s programs, including its Shared Patient Information, Learning Academy and Patient Advocacy programs. In addition to this campaign, HHP has relied on and continues to implement raising money from donations to fund its main programs. The crowdfunding campaign will further support HHP’s goal in strengthening its programs.

This crowdfunding campaign from Human Health Project launched in 2020 helped support HHP’s IMPACT program. This program was helpful in promoting HHP’s mission by providing health related information, education and support. With an emphasis on underserved populations, the IMPACT program was relevant in helping patients and caregivers understand their healthcare options and the resources available to them.

The success of Human Health Project’s crowdfunding campaign in 2020 led to a relaunch of the crowdfunding campaign in 2021. The current crowdfunding campaign will support the addition of new conditions in HHP’s Shared Patient Information program, additional courses in its Learning Academy, as well as the development of new workshops in its Patient Advocacy program. These programs can have a tremendous impact on the lives of people throughout the world. Similarly to the HHP IMPACT campaign from 2020, Human Health Project’s current crowdfunding campaign can continue to be successful as well as have a meaningful influence.
